Cocktails by the Bay 2016
This year’s party was a great success with over 200 people in attendance supporting the Bellport Village Program Fund.
We want to thank everyone for their support and we will continue with all of our programs with increased enthusiasm.
Meet the Parents 2016
The second annual Meet the Parents event at Mother's Beach, held July 16, 2016 was a huge success! With over 100 people in attendance, many were engaged with the Friends of Bellport Bay (FOBB, a project supported by the Bellport Village Program Fund) seeding and chucking oysters into the Bay. A fish tank showed how oysters turn murky water into clear water, exciting all who witnessed.
Children played on the BVPF donated playground equipment, and parents got to meet each other under the shade of Flo's truck, and on the lovely beach.
It was the inaugural appearance of the new BVPF tent. As our events grow in popularity this tent is sure to be seen again!
Family Bingo Night 2016
On July 14 a Family Bingo Party was held at the Bellport Country Club, attended by 80 parents and children.
